Glendon and Christina Terrace have been serving as missionaries in North Sumatra, Indonesia for the past 17 years.
Lisa took time out to do a number of ministry trips to Cambodia, to Phnom Penh and select villages, in 2023 and 2024, through close family friends, and out of United City Church. Her heart was stirred each ministry trip and after earnestly seeking God she felt called to become a missionary to Cambodia. Heeding her call she quickly set about to put things in order in Brisbane, Australia, to be able to move to Cambodia as soon as possible. In late 2024 she found herself now calling Phnom Penh home. She set about finding a new place to live, settling herself in a church home and forging relationships to begin her new life.
Lisa was highly motivated by the plight of the children of Cambodia and their high risk of being trafficked into the sex slavery industry. In God's divine appointment she is now positioned in her new home opposite a primary school. In developing a reputation as a kind and loving Mum to the local children she is inundated on a daily basis by their presence. In conversations with the children Lisa learned they have very little eat each day due to their poverty.
Hence started a lunchtime program where Lisa is now feeding 100 children per day, with the goal of 200 per day.
